Are you not getting the results you want from your work outs?

There are many reasons why we might not be getting the results we want from our workouts. These things include our sleep patterns, eating habits(nutrition), lack of planning/preparation and doing the same work out over and over again. Sleep we all know that we need it, yet so many of us neglect it! We should be getting 7 to 9 hours of sleep a night to aid in our recovery. If you are working out hard and pushing yourself you should try to get as close to 9 hours as possible. Some of us may be getting decent results, but want more definition or an increase in muscle mass. In this case it is very likely that nutrition is the key! Our Eating Habits affect us both physically and mentally, and unfortunately there is a wide range of proccessed and fast foods all around us which makes it hard to maintain healthy eating habits. Try to meal prep if possible, buy real food from the grocery store and select a day of the week to get your cooking done! If cooking isn't your thing, then research a healthy meal prep service near you. It may be a little costly, but the conveinience of having a healthy meal ready to go at a moments notice is invaluable. Lack of Planning/Preparation will often leave us feeling lost at the gym and trying to figure out what to do instead of using our time to work hard. Or we end up doing the same workout routine over and over again which let's be honest gets quite boring and leads us to a plateau. Many times we're doing the same lifts we learned in high school! Which are mainly mainly focused on one muscle group in a set position. This does not translate to athletic performance! Times have changed and so should your training. Don't like creating work outs? Or do you feel like you've done everything you know over and over again! Consider working with a qualified professional, this will help you to set some goals and come up with a solid game plan for your individual fitness journey. A good Trainer will help teach you new and exciting work outs while holding you accountable along the way. There's no better way to see results! Try a new Modality of training! You might have been focused on only one form of exercise for a long time(yoga,crossfit,olympic lifting,power lifting,running), it's time to try something brand new! Incorporating new exercises is a great way to stimulate both mind and body. Come learn some new functional training methods and increase your physical & mental strength while improving your cardio and athletic performance! Functional Training includes working with Kettle Bells, Bulgarian Bags, Weight plates/Barbell, TRX, Dumbbell's, bodyweight, and gymnastics. Martial Arts are an amazing way to challenge yourself and learn self defense. We will cover many different styles including Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, American Kenpo Karate, Jiu-Jitsu, Judo and Tae Kwon Do. We are in stressful times and I would much rather have a tool and not need it, then need it and not have it!
